Coral Calcium Tea

Is it really possible to get your calcium supplement as coral calcium tea? If you are a coral calcium tea drinker, it is important for you to know that you are only benefitting from approximately 2% of the marine coral's nutrients which are dissolved in the water of the tea. Basically you are drinking coral water.

When coral calcium is put into clean water there are both physical and chemical changes that take place which are beneficial to your health. The alkalinity of the water goes up which makes its pH level higher and helps to balance the ph level of the body. The coral calcium also changes the oxidation reduction potential of the water. However, there is not enough of the coral sand in the tea bags to produce a rapid physico-chemical change. If the tea bags did produce these rapid changes most likely they have been treated by adding other strong alkalinizing substances, such as calcium hydroxide, or other hydroxides or oxides of alkaline metals.

Drinking tea made from coral calcium is a very healthy drink. But if you are using this drink as a dietary supplement, you will not gain the full benefits that you wanted if you were taking coral calcium in the form of capsules or powder. Often people that drink coral calcium tea, are really not aware of the amount of calcium that is in their drink. It is estimated that they would receive between ten and fifty times the mineral nutrients by taking one capsule of coral calcium, dependent on the brand and type of tea bag and capsule

The benefits of coral calcium tea, or coral water, are more of a type of homeopathic treatment. This treatment would include mineral enrichment as one key factor. Often when people drink coral calcium tea they experience relief from many of their aches and pains. This is due to the fact that the coral water contained enough of the coral calcium and other minerals that their bodies needed at that time.

Drinking coral calcium tea does have its benefits but should not be used as a replacement for dietary calcium supplements.
